I'm not a good storyteller, but I can be a pretty good listener. Keep the stories coming. If they are bogus, I have a decent BS meter that has rarely failed me. I would like to come back from my unit 61 3rd season hunt this November with a few good stories.

This is a pic I took of my cousin's ML Henries deer from 2019. He drew with max points. Not sure of the official score, but it measured at ~227" gross. It was running with 2 other nice bucks, 180 - 190ish, certainly ML-worthy on the Henries. My uncle (right) took a nice velvet buck in 2003...

Right now I am thinking that I'll hold off on that until I have a story in September.

I wasn't clear in my comment - my bad. What I meant was that combining points with someone besides my son AND then putting in for the Special draw on top in order to guarantee that we all draw would be a hassle I could avoid by simply putting in the Regular draw with my son...with 11.5 points...

Thanks to everyone for your responses. At this point I am leaning toward just putting me and my son in together without the hassle of sharing outside and applying for the Special. Less complicated that way. That could change if someone comes to us with let's say 7 or 8 points and an offer too...
