It's been 10 years since I have hunted Unit 17 and could use some help on a few good spots to search for some cows. I'll be using my trusty smoke pole and the last time I hunted was just south of Magdalena.

Lucky me drew the muzzy hunt at the end of September! Although I will be with an outfitter, just wanted to know what to expect in that unit. I've hunted several other units in the southwestern part of NM, but just wanted some basic info.

Traded an 06 Polaris Ranger for the Commander 800R in January....best move I've ever done. The Commander has more power and better gas mileage than any of the current Ranger models. It is very comfortable, quick response, excellent FWD option, better storage space. Headlights are very crisp...

Great story, and so glad for your dad to finally make his dream hunt happen! Twenty-two years is a long time to wait for success, but glad it paid off finally!
