Deer: Not really Elk: Depends on the tag, but for most of my hunts, I'll pass very small rags and spikes. Last day or two days I am absolutely hammering any legal elk. Spike if it's in a really bad spot could get a pass. Even on the little ones, there is too much prime meat to leave w/o it...

Danny Ocean, apologies for piling on but... Why are you guys killing the deer that have CWD? I'm guessing it's that you can't tell what deer have it (until tested), or that they all have it? If they all have it, how are there any deer to shoot on the property?

Some guys wore those in ND winter when I was up there building powerline. We called them Mickey Mouse boots. I had some Hoffman Packs, better for climbing poles. Good lord were they heavy though!!
