We hit areas based on the terrain. We look for south faces with cuts that have 6 to 8 year old trees on it. As soon as we find one in an area we grid it. Thick reaprod on the edge of larger timber is a great place to start.

Wife and I drew Whiteriver rifle tags. Both of us opted for point savers for elk due to it being the last year to enjoy archery hunting before it becomes another June disappointment.

It's my opinion. He lives on the fringe of Rosie country but his mass suggests he's pure Roosevelt look at the full Bodie photo that's late in the winter and he is still massive the best Rockies I get on camera that time of year look like ****.

Most Rosie hunts are general season. Besides Saddle Mountain that's an every other year depending if you're after a first season or second.

Even Archery season is becoming a joke.

Always plan on disappointment. Even with success, you will find more orange then open hillsides with animals anymore. Scout hard and hunt even harder.
