It's been awhile but I drew in 2009, we hunted the area just west of mesquite pass, colostrum mine, Clark mountain,pachalka spring,copper world mine, if it hasn't changed he will get alot of info at the orientation, good luck. That is a once in a lifetime hunt.

we hunted deer there last year and saw a nice bull with a couple of cows, 100 yards from the road, south of elba pass just past the stinston creek trail/road. Jon

thanks for the feedback, can't hunt opening, but have the last two weeks to hunt.

i was told that was a good place to start,from your reply i am thinking not.

drew oct. tag am planning on a scouting trip next week,have not hunted this unit before. any help would be greatly appreciated. am looking at starting in the jim sage range. thanks jon
