Agreed The last muley I shot in Idaho was 2016 with muzzle loader I love hunting muleys, But my whitetail standards are pretty low They taste so good 😆

Even though they should have quit killing does years ago I’m glad they are at least finally stopping it Maybe now it’s time to do something like Utah dedicated hunter program. Although I have no idea if that program works. Does it? Or something like we can only shoot 2 muleys every 5 years...

I have been trying to get a random , special tag for the last 4 years since I drew last. this year its points only for me. The odds are so low for a random and because of the cost , that was the factor in my decision

I hunted 24 , it’s your points But if I had max points, I wouldn’t apply there.

I think you ended up with a much better hunt, by not killing the first bull. Look at all the fun you and the guide got to have looking at other elk. Not that it wouldn’t have been bad with the bigger bull though
