And you think Utah non residents are the issue

Yes, but what if he is a hunter or a guide or outfitter? Would it be about hunting then? Just curious really. Definitely sheds a bad image on hunters as he most likely is a hunter even thought this has nothing to do with hunting.

TRW joint committee to take up preference to bonus point issue

In the same boat with 23. Just waiting for a better unit and for my kids to grow up. Shouldn't be penalized for that after paying for decades. If they go 50/50 Preference and Bonus most could live with that and would avoid a lawsuit. Not saying who would win such a lawsuit but I am sure it would...

    Red Desert Pronghorn 80”+

79 6/8 + 2 or 3 (normal shrinkage in 60 days according to the most knowledgeable antelope hunter around) = 81 6/8 or 82 6/8 + 1" additional shrinkage for the extra 5 months it sat around somewhere = 82 6/8 or 83 6/8 Just saying, it is definitely possible the OP scored it somewhat close...

    Red Desert Pronghorn 80”+

Thank you and this one was not scored for 7 months! And we don't know how it was cared for either. Heck it might have actually been an 84 incher :)

Is that what the OP did? Go measure some of yours and tell us what they score now?

    Red Desert Pronghorn 80”+

Okay Buzz, don't laugh, show data they don't shrink. Most are significant, 2 to 4 inches on many, especially if you freeze them and loose moisture.

    Red Desert Pronghorn 80”+

Antelope notoriously shrink a lot. I am guessing he was 3 inches bigger when you shot him and at 60 days probably would have made the awards. We're his horns in the freezer much?

Wyoming G and H non resident tags cut again

Sounds like they should sell a 1,000 more non-resident tags in G/H and use the money for some more overpasses.

    Early snow question

I think this theory is based on October hunts when that is when the season was open. In October, some big bucks will definitely stay high and wait until November to migrate down.

    Early snow question

Easier to see the deer with snow and often better overall movement with cooler weather. Can get the bucks to start sniffing around more as well and if enough snow it will push them out of the timber down lower into more visible terrain. Interested to see what others think about reverse migration...

Someone willing to talk about CO

If you would have applied for a tag that started after his birthday he would have got a point if he didn't draw it. Did the same thing last year for a 11 year old.

Wyoming G and H non resident tags cut again

G&H will be the most limited non-resident units in the state this Fall. Maybe they should be?

Taker or No? How wide and what does he score?

    Yep, 33 and 190.

Wyoming G and H non resident tags cut again

Agreed, short-term it is not a bad idea to try and save a few bucks especially with a lower than objective buck to doe ratio being reported.
