I ran into a guy a few years ago somewhere, maybe the expo, that was selling natural stump pedestals... I just have never been a real fan of the pedestal mount but I always thought if I run out of wall space I'm finding this guy, I am kinda forced into it with low ceilings, no more wall space...

There is no comparison, if your eyes can't see a difference between Swarovski and Vortex I would recommend getting an eye appointment ASAP...

For me, it was simple...going back and forth between tripod, window mount, etc I HATED having to unthread re-thread plates/adapters... And because most tripod/window mount manufactures seem to always run different plates, even between tripods, I went to manfrotto! I purchased a befree tripod...
