Have the btx with the 95. I ditched the 1.7x magnifier as it made the setup bulky and heat waves made it difficult at times. I use the zoom on my phone when I want to see closer. If you need the eye relief this is the ticket.

Yes, we saw several good bulls from a distance. We didn't bother getting in real close to look them over as we were after mulies and didn't want to bump them as there were elk hunters in the area.

I agree, Oregon is horrible with the non res. The state could generate a lot of revenue if they would loosen up with some NR tags.

Utilize the odds link on the main page. I applied last year for the 1st time and was successful in drawing my tag in the panhandle 2017. Fun species to hunt! I would gear towards the rut as I had several opportunities and took the 3rd bull I saw at 17 yards
