I really don't get the increase in doe tags. Seems like no effort to help the herd grow.

If you look at the percentages, the non res percent increase is much bigger than res. In 10 years the deertags went from 14K to 20K, 42 percent increase. Resident went from 123k to 144k, which is only 17%. This supports what jetsled said and what I have seen in central Idaho regarding plates...
