Sounds like the Forrest Service is just showing us that they are boss. There are obvious dangers with fallen trees and flash floods etc. But every mountain range comes with dangers.

Thanks, Everyone for the info and advice. I didn't expect much from people when I asked where to hunt on the Cache unit. The members on MM have been excellent, and great sportsman. I am going to give it my best. I am busy with school and work though. I will keep you posted on how I do.

From what I heard from my friend they gave out 8,000 tags. Why are there so many tags if the deer population is down?

I just moved from St. George to Logan and I have a muzzle loader tag. Where would a good place for me to go hunting be? I'm not looking for anyone's honey holes just a place for me to start where i will see quite a few deer. Thanks.

Its a tough unit. It would be hard for me to use 11 points on a unit I am unfamiliar with.
