I would reach out to the landowner and ask permission to drive through their property and tell them that you only are interested in hunting the public ground. I’ve been successful with that in the past.
I followed the instructions in the above link from Wapiti Bob but the only options I see are for Spring Bear? Nothing for the deer tag I applied for. Am I missing something?
It’s not “destroying” X6A. There will be some good mosaic burn pattern in some areas and some moonscape in other places. It is what is and it sucks for those that have the tag this year for sure.

IDFG is solely funded by hunters and fisherman. The legislature has very little say (yes I know they changed the trespassing laws) in hunting and fishing funding. Is it annoying we have to wait so long with such bad odds....yes.... But if this extra revenue helps keep politics out of...
Hey Mallard, also, "special junior/mentor hunts": While they do have some opportunity I think they should have even more, especially for bull elk, rifle, rut...
Or....how about everyone has the same chance every year. No one is "entitled" to a controlled hunt. Not even once in their life. Hate to tell ya that life isn't fair.
There are only a hand full of states that matter for the presidential race in 2020. The rest are already decided. SC, PA, MN, MI, FL, CO, FL, OH, and maybe AZ.
