How rare is it to find sheds off a 200 inch muley?

Made a double tier chandelier from >200" sets, all grade 2. Bottom tier was the big ones, 3 sets. My boss saw it and bought it for a good price (for him) then the SOB fired me... a pox be upon him!!

How rare is it to find sheds off a 200 inch muley?

Well if you dont find the set I would say you are limited to "most likely" a 200" deer, since who knows what broke on the other side or just never grew. That being said after many thousands of sheds the > 200" typpy pile is pretty easy to hold. The >200" N-typpy requires a bit more effort...

    Colorado Big Game study 2020

Yep how they count the deer is a problem, but WHO counts the deer is a bigger problem (those who cash the checks count the deer). And lead poisoning is never discussed as a factor.

Wyoming Unit 5 sheep success (At least for me)

Yep when I checked in the oldest on record was on the shelf in Cody office. Pretty sure it was 13, coulda been 12 I forget. They gave mine one under that, to me more important than the length, I was thrilled to get one at the end of his career. Tough country to make it for too many winters there.

Any WY unit 5 sheep reports?

Some of you guys are brutal... factually accurate but still brutal! Cracked me up. I would have to say that truck camping for sheep in unit 5 is a very low success rate adventure. And yes I have hunted #5 successfully and used a truck, to get to the parking lot.

    Colorado Moose 37/371

Took my bull and have helped on a couple of cows there. If you are going to go to a few of those mentioned drainages you better have some logistical help on hand. Bulls can look pretty large when you are 5+ miles from the truck tailgate. There are some exceptional bulls call that part of the...

    "Tough" Winter Discussion

Dont forget planes, trains, and automobiles. Planes... "studying" them for months and miles at 4+ ft of snow and -30 temps. Trains... cant swerve and up to 65-70 mph, take out while herds at times and to count the dead you have to count hooves and divide by 4, its a twisted mess...

    Is .22 ammo back yet?

Got 10,000 rounds in the other day and trying to decide whether to hold or sell. What r u guys seeing out and about in stores? Went to cabelas and saw a full shelf and I got all excited until I read the boxes as it was all .22 long sub-sonic.

    Shed dog farce.??

Maybe the farce is watching shed hunting videos?? My dog is crippled and in re-hab and brings me illegal horns that I have to ignore for another month or so. Try training a dog to read the calendar.

    Muley Changes to NW Colorado

Perfectly logical really, to save the deer we will kill the deer... Now would there be any related spinoff effects that aren't worth mentioning by printing lots of buck tags??? Hmmmmmm.... no I'm convinced they are only wanting what is best for the herd... count me in with total conviction as...

    Competing with "long rangers"

Yes. Yes. And yes many times over that they gave minimal cursory effort at recovery and failed due to not putting forth effort enough and never reaching where the animal actually was when the shots were fired. Distance, stupidity, laziness or a combination?? I dunno. One season, one party...

    Competing with "long rangers"

You guys would fight over sky color... MY PLAN: A 45-70 and stick to terrain/cover that neutralizes their toys. The down side is a. It's hard work, especially the elk recovery B. (This is a real bummer) whatever I spook is just going to be irresistible for a 20 shot volley from well...
