What a three ring sh!t show circuis

Went down on the manti this weekend and the top is still covered and drifts much deeper than 5 feet. Plenty of drifts still 10+ feet. I'll bet a guy won't be able to get around at all up top till a week or two before the archery hunt starts. I'm betting there will still be some drifts hanging on...

Wouldn?t catch me throwing a scatter belt at an elk. Let alone pushed by a LR magnum load.

Thanks Tikka!! If I drew the archery tag, it's going to be a whole different ball game than the muzzy deer or the spike n cow hunts we've done down there. Only have one prior season with a bow under me and that was chasing deer. One of the funnest years I had but that huge buck I was watching...

Either the wife pulled Manti early rifle elk with nine points or I pulled Manti archery with three!! Crazy we were chasing bulls on the manti with my sons muzzy tag in 17 now we'll be chasing them again in 19. Two LE elk tags in as many years. Now it's the wait to see who.

Definitely a cool buck you got there Jeremy! Even cooler seeing him in person. It was a blast getting over there chasing them goats with you this year. I appreciate all the help and time you spent of your own to make my hunt one to remember with you and my son buddy!!!

I would strongly suggest taking those birds over decoys. It is a whole different experience to decoy them in vs standing a dike and trying to sky blast them 100 yards overhead. Seen way to many birds crippled by people doing that. They are tuff s.o.b.?s and especially dike hunting, only a head...
