    2022 Colorado Archery Buck

That is the exo mountain 5500 with a lid. It's the older K2 frame but LOVE this pack. Everything came out in one trip, camp, most of my food, the entire deer, etc. Figured it was about 105 lbs all said and done. Slow and steady down the mountain, but well worth making only one trip. Pack...

    2022 Colorado Archery Buck

I was lucky enough to pack into an area I hunted back in 2019. I tweaked my plan and camping spot a little bit and gave myself some seclusion from hikers and bikers. I was able to pick up a group of bucks Thursday afternoon when making camp as they re-bedded for the day. I then spotted them...

    2022 Hunting Adventures

Long story short, that group of bucks was the first group I picked up at first light at about a mile away. I figured they'd be up and feeding for a few hours, and they were really high on the ridge, so my plan was to cut the distance and just not get busted to see what they were going to do. I...

    2022 Hunting Adventures

During my camp setup, I was able to pick up a group of 4 bucks rebedding for the day. I went out to my initial glassing point that evening and found them again, and figured there were 2 bucks in the group that I would shoot. A Solid 150s 4x4 and a gnarly 3x2 who had the largest body in the...

    2022 Hunting Adventures

My high country Colorado hunt started off pretty sweet. I had a spot closer to the road where I could scout for a few days. Ended up turning up 8 bucks on the Wednesday before the opener, but only saw 1 that evening and 2 the next morning, with plenty of other company in the basin I decided I...

    Couple AZ governor tag bucks

I was going to say the same thing. That means, in any of these crazy good units, a 230-240 buck would have to slip through the cracks, or a 200" buck slips through for 2 years? Between trail cams, winter range photographers and shed chasers, I find it unlikely, BUT ANYTHING is possible!

Would you be getting after this one?

I actually think you're better off hunting a buck like this in a basin that has less deer. Less eyes when you finally do get the chance, and a lower deer density basin might keep guys out of there, where they give a quick look, miss this deer and move on and don't return. I think a small...
