I've applied now 8 years in a row, mainly for elk. 0 for 8. Ha! I am swinging for the moon on some of the units i'm applying for, but I am in the outfitter pool, just hasn't helped quite yet.. maybe this year :sneaky:

Hunted 3rd 55 2 years ago while my dad had the tag. Had a great hunt and luckily got some decent weather to move around some of the bucks.. if you can get away from the OTC elk hunters you'll be solid!

looking at your unit specifically, it shows 68 NonRes put in with 2 points, and 62 of those drew the tag. So you're not the only one. There were 157 Non Res with 1 point and 57 of those drew. Kind of sucky but thats how a majority of the units worked out to be with not everyone with the higher...
