I think we as hunters or any public land user needs to look into the reason these public lands were set aside. State or federal public land was set aside for one reason and one reason only, to generate revenue. They weren’t designated to hunt, fish, trap or hike however we’ve gotten to do...

The input (mandatory) he is probably referring to in Ak is you have to complete harvest surveys before you can apply for tags the following year. I agree that if that was mandatory we would have a better idea of how many critters are being harvested.

Im a resident and i dont agree with it but i enjoy it? Theres many places on the west side of the state that the wilderness would require horse power to get into and to get critters hauled out (especially elk). One thing i wonder is how many nr would either be able to bring their own horses...

What does it weigh?

I have a caribou that is in need of something like this. I looked online and all that comes up is mountain mikes artificial skulls. Cant seem to find uncle Mike’s. Is there a caribou skull available or does a guy just use an elk skull?

And the state income tax is coming and i think the winters are really going to start getting bad here too. Probably best just to stay put

Be aware that you cant be dropped anywhere in the wilderness. No motor travel of Any kind. Lots of horses a guy could rent in those parts ill bet.

Those animals were taken on private land you probably wont find much on public that matches them. NE Wyo is WAY over hunted as far as public land is concerned. Lots of forked horns and 3xs. Colorado is a great place to find big animals go get em.
