Come awn boys i'm not trying to tap into your twisted thoughts so don't go....

I'm asking whats your favorite way to execute a kill ??

if you had it your way....would you like to belly out on a cliff looking down on your prey without him knowing ?? You got all the time to get set up, get comfy and relaxed, take him when your ready??? maybe a situation like this....

or would like to be creepin where its flat and ugly, everything is 100/200 yards in front of you, and like a switch its ON, your heart is pumping with an explosion of adrenaline that is not controllable, but he's good you got 10 seconds to decide and you have to gun him down now regardless....maybe something like this...

Or would you like to clank some horns or call him in and when he appears in your window WAM!!! ???

I have taken animals in many different ways....The 10 second heart exploding, I'm gunna gun you down kills were probably the most exciting and the most thrilling for me,,, but I do love to get set up and ring out a big canyon as well... Man I love hunting!!!.... My 10 second nor cal buck from last year, he's OK

Spot a big one a long way away. Bed him. Make my move above him. Wait for him to get up and knock him right back down.

Happens like that about %25 of the time. The rest of the time I take them any which way I can.

Option #2. I love still hunting - slow and easy through some decent cover with intermittent open spots. I have some decent success with this approach on the archery and muzzy hunts. All senses keenly switched on and heart rate elevated the whole time!

For excitement - creepin where its flat and ugly, everything is 100/200 yards in front of you, and like a switch its ON, your heart is pumping with an explosion of adrenaline that is not controllable, but he's good you got 10 seconds to decide and you have to gun him down now regardless....

For scouting and taking one off the hit list it is usually #1. Just not as exciting.

#1: Doggie style

#2: In my face with a bow, arrow knocked and drawn. Let fly inside of 10 feet. That’s a rush.

#3: 600 yards, get steady, tap the trigger. Gets the job done but not the same.

"tap the trigger"??????????
No wonder.

I love it all!
Hunts play out so differently that I quit trying to script them long ago. Hunting is just magical in all forms and fashions, to me, and I refuse to look down my nose because someone does it differently...

I enjoy creeping where its steep and creepy. A kick a$$ October snow falling that may drop 5 inches, but can be gone tomorrow so it is easy packin' ----- then shoot whatever i have the tag for.

Bloodtracker You forgot the light. LOL
I like sitting high up watching them coming though the small opening in the cedar trees below the cliffs losing them then finding them again and again. Set up and ranged every clearing in cedars that's in shooting distance. one bang
