Anyone want to WIN this bino case? This month our friends at Bad Ass Outdoor Gear have got a Badlands D-Mag Bino Case to give away to one of you who shares a great mule deer scouting photo from this year.

Now on to HOW to WIN. Feel free to post 4 or 5 or so of your best scouting photos for the contest, but post them in separate posts, as only the first photo in each post shows up as a thumbnail above.
Share a little detail about the pics too!

We'll run the photo contest for a few weeks and then I'll pick a winner based on what I think is the coolest pic. I'll also let photo likes help guide my decision. Just a fun contest.

Thanks to Bad Ass Outdoor Gear for donating the prizes for the contests and PLEASE everyone, when you're in the market to upgrade your gear, please shop Bad Ass Outdoor Gear and give them a chance to earn your business for good. They've got a large selection of hunting gear for you to look through.

Here's the prize that's up for grabs.

Long distant view of the buck I eventually harvested last archery season. Watched this buck from 1-3 miles away from June to Aug. Was able to finally arrow him on day 13 of the bowhunt. Fun to see them up close after watching them from afar for months. Sometimes there is even some ground swell!!!

Crazy how early some bucks look finished out.
That buck Jake H shared looks like a late July/ early August buck.
oops, I missed the part about bucks from this year, a couple of those are from last year. I reported the posts and told them to remove them as it doesn't give me the option to.

M73, let’s see a photo of that big boy in the ground. Congrats on a great archery buck.

Here's a little sample video of a few bucks I've got on video this year while trying to figure out a new general season unit I drew out for.

Those are some good one's, If those big one's got bigger you should find a dandy.
Unfortunately what I'm seeing in Utah, is that with the drought we are having, antler growth is not looking too good.

Let's see this year's picture
I backpacked into the same area for two nights and this is the best buck I saw. I can't fathom that all three of the mature bucks in last years pic didn't make it through the winter.

Just checked this camera today. No monster but he is big for being on my property in the foothills. Can't see all the points from this angle but he will finish as a 6x6.

I'm pretty close to the Utah border......I think they might have fled the oppression there. I figure he's practicing. And he needs it.:)

SureShot asked me to post one he caught on his trail cam last week. He's still looking for a giant.

We've got a WINNER in this photo contest.

And the winner is ... HoofingIt

Definitely those photos shared that were from another year were fantastic, but the rules were for pics from this year scouting. This one is a real good one and had a bunch of votes.

So I did a poor job of highlighting the fact that the contest was for 2020 scouting photos. HoofingIt had actually posted a pic from last year and was honest and told me. So the new WINNER will be .... Bluehair with this sweet photo.
