Recommended taxidermists around Utah County?

Hello everyone,

My Dad has a limited entry deer tag for this fall. Does any have any recommendations on taxidermists around Utah County? I would like to have an idea of where to go if my Dad is successful on his hunt.

Remember, you get what you pay for. There are some really good guys in your area. The guy that is the cheapest and tells you he will have it done in a few months. Put your hand on your wallet and run away.

I’ve been taking mine to Paul Penney for years. He’s a great guy and does very good work. He does focus more on sheep and exotics anymore, but still does some deer.

don’t let distance be a factor. Go to the right place for the right mount. You will regret it if your decision is based off of location only; in most cases.

There’s a lot of guys that do great work in Utah county. I’ve used Mike Chrisentensen on a handful of deer and elk. Always been happy. ??

I hear he does good work but he has had my moose cape over 31 months and I get no response from him by phone or text. I think he is EXTREMELY Poor communicator and borders on being a thief. Ive asked for money back with no results

My results with him have been a 0 out 10. Might be a great guy has never finished my OIL Moose been 31 months ago

I would recommend supporting the guy who contributes here on this website and does amazing work on mule deer. He also does his own tanning which speeds up the work and guarantees you are getting your animal back.

Check out all the posts @Uttaxi1 (Ross) has put on this site with his work. He is in Herriman.

Paul is as good as they get but I don't think he is taking any new client deer.

Paul does amazing work, he has my dall right now. He is a great guy to talk with as well, bad thing is he is only going to be doing sheep and goats from

I agree 100 percent that’s why I drove 9 hours to have Paul Pennie do my sheep and have certain taxidermist per what species I want to get mounted and will cape out everything and take it to them.
