Book Cliffs

Just Wanted to Say thanks to everyone who reached out and gave me advice on the Book Cliffs Unit. Just got back from my muzzloader hunt and had an awesome experience. I'm still very new to hunting mule deer, but that hunt fueled the fire even more. A lot of people told me the unit has gone down hill the past few years. Only hunting mulies the past 6 years and comparing it to my general season unit here in Utah, It was a blast. Lots of deer, didn't see many big big bucks after Mid August. My goal was at Least 160" and I reached it. I think the unit can still produce some giants! With a lot of country to hide. The unit can be overwhelming so thanks again to you all who reached out lending advice and support!

Nice buck. Congratulations. The Books is my absolute favorite hunt for muleys so far. Great country and a ton of deer to glass up.

I'm pretty sure that buck, with those family members, with that backdrop is the greatest "trophy" anyone could ask for. B&C cant measure the memories you will keep of this hunt. Congrats and thanks for sharing it with us.!!
