Scoring that buck will never do him justice because of his oddball lengths and mismatched extras but that is a great buck.

Gross, I'd bet a dollar that he's slightly over 180" by the time you add it all up.
If you're talking "net" he's not going to score his true worth IMHO.

No way this buck is in the 150 range. I think the tape easily stretches past 170. His mass makes him not look as long but he a dandy all around. Congrats!

Yeah I think 150 is way light. I put him in the 170-180 range but more impressive buck than that. Rack just doesn't lend itself to much higher than that because of lack of back right fork, beam length, couple other factors. But I'd smoke him at first light opening morning when it comes time to burn my points.

I'll try to score him myself when I get him back from the taxidermist. I was willing to shoot anything being my first Mule Deer hunt. So I think his name is "LOTTO". Cause it was really just luck! I really don't care that much about score, but was just wondering everyones opinion. Hes a record in my book and that's all that "REALLY" matters. Thanks for the replies. Truly appreciate it!!!

It isn't hard to measure them and get close. You could do it or have a guy in your area that measures a whitetails in your area help you. Someone like BOHTR would give the most accurate score.
I was guessing closer to 160" gross. I don't think he will break 170". I would guess the outside spread is around 26". Very nice buck. I like how unique he is. Congratulations!

There are some awesome bucks that don’t score very well. B&C rewards perfection and symmetry which is fine and sets a standard. But, that buck has eye appeal and the score shouldn’t matter. What a great buck and congrats.

Love it! Gonna say 160"-170" but this is a perfect example of when the score doesn't matter. He's more impressive than his B&C score would indicate.

Like someone else already mentioned - that buck isn't built for score. He has a cool factor that is more important than a score sheet. I'm not even gonna throw a guess out because he deserves more than simply a number.

Just shy of 30". Like 29 7/8th. I did measure that. Lol

I more then likely won't have him officially scored! I'm definitely not in it for score. I can ruff guess a whitetail and that's about all I do. Just wanted some Mule Deer hunters thoughts. I was guessing 165-170ish.

My initial thought was that I was seeing about 165 class deer plus the extras, putting him in the mid-high 170s. But you might be pretty dead on.

Just ask your taxidermist to score him for you if you’re curious. I’m sure he’d do it.
