I know these are just park rams, but I love this photo. The ram closest to me is a nice one. My girls were getting tired of me telling them which one I would shoot.

I made the whole damn family mad over thanksgiving when we were at Valley of Fire.

I kept yelling about the fine ram sightings (and which one I'd shoot) while they were looking at rock formations.

GoHigher and I would get along just fine.

I can't believe your family would rather look at rock formations than sheep! They must be losing their mojo! ;)

Next time leave them home, let me tag along and we will go drool together...and not because we are old!

And yes cool pic. I've had to do a U turn a few times at that park to get a better look.

I decided to have some fun with the kids and grand kids and offer a substantial cash award for the first person to spot sheep.
I was driving in the front of our 2vehicle caravan, and doing my best to avoid all the Subarus, so I figured that it would be someone in my truck who spotted sheep first.
My second-to-the-youngest daughter spotted the first ones and squealed like I’d just run over a tourist. Ha
They would compare the rams by saying “smaller than” or “almost as good as” Jess’s Utah ram. Ya, they all really had fun with the rams but my wife shushed me when I kept saying “I’d shoot that one” while other tourists were around us and trying to “sneak” up on them.
Nothing quite like tame sheep! Lol

Cool photo! Where was that at?
Those rams look about as wild as a backcountry goat I once almost shot. I couldn't do it and ate the tag.

I remember that ordeal Founder. It was painful for all of us to read about.
I believe these Rams are in the Boulder City NV. park, but there's no way to hunt that group so you wouldn't have to face the dilemma that you did.

Hemenway Park in Boulder City, NV. Its especially fun to see them during the rut. They'll but heads right in the park!
