This is a good time for a reminder to those just joining in on this thread. The original post:

Over the years I've seen some great photos by members of MM posted on this site.

Here's the gist of it -- post a single photo (or two) each day in a reply with no more than two lines of descriptive text. Limit the photos to outdoor scenics, live animals and people doing things in the outdoors. They do not have be hunting related. Save the dead critter/hero photos for the other forum sections. Lastly, please do not hijack the thread with other discussions unrelated to the posted images. Start a separate thread!

Now let's have a little fun & see how long we can keep this thread going. I'll start with a reply to this message.

Since I will be doing art shows in Pinetop, Arizona all summer, I have been editing some images for print to fit mountain decor. This is from Dallas Divide in Coloardo one fall. In the full size file, one can see two bulls bugling at each other across the opening at the top of the ridge.

So today I headed out to check on the south 40 with the dogs when we ran into this gal in the backyard. She had at least 8 chicks. I got all the dogs and cats in the house so she could gather the chicks up and head to safer places.

We never had turkeys until 2 years ago. Very exciting. :)

These two show up every year at my parents lake. May be Last year I’ll see them since both my parents passed away last year. This year they started with Seven. Coyotes, coons and snappers get a few.
