Let's see some of your Hunting Photos of the Year for 2020. Of all the pictures you took in 2020, which hunting photos would best describe your year of hunting. Or which would jog your memory in 20 years of what took place in 2020?

Share as many as needed, but don't get too carried away. Maybe up to ten if that's what it takes. Add a little detail about the pics too so we know why they'd help remind you of your 2020 hunting adventures.

We'll run the photo contest for a few weeks and then I'll randomly pick a winner. Each photo shared will count as one entry and every 10 reactions that your post gets will get an extra entry. Just a fun contest. We all love seeing the photos.

The contest prizes will be a Phone Skope Kit for 1st place and Pyro Putty and an Arch Lighter for 2nd place. Thanks to the folks at Phone Skope for the gear! If you don't already own the a Phone Skope, then get over to their site and get one......that is if you don't win one here! It's a valuable piece of gear to have with you for helping to preserve your hunting and scouting adventures.

This one might be one of my favorites for a while. I asked dad if I could use my grandma's old 30-30 to try and shoot a antelope this year after I found out I had got a couple of doe tags. He ended up surprising me and giving me the gun for my birthday. Was able to get a doe and also was able to shoot a whitetail with it in November. That was the 1st animal it had shot since my grandpa and grandma was using it when dad was young. Hopefully this year I can use it some more

2021 was definitely one of the best years I had hunting. I personally took my first bear, whitetail, and Javelina. Also got to mentor my brother for his first bull during the archery season. Also got to go along on a great sheep hunt with my grandpa, and my wife got her first antelope.

2020 started off with a fun family vacation to Puerto Rico where I caught my first 2 mahi. Then took a dive with a cellulitis infection that put me in the hospital for a week the first of April. Didn’t walk for 3 weeks. Shed season was shot. So I told my wife if I got better I wanted to go bear hunting in may. Now I’m hooked on bear hunting. The cherry on top was killing an amazing buck on a general tag on the last day of a 1 week season.

That is one heck of a Muley

2020 will always be a special hunting year in my memory banks for 3 main reasons:

#1: I made good on 21 years of waiting for a LE Utah elk tag with a bull of my dreams and an amazing overall scouting/hunting experience

#2: My Dad, in what may have been his last hunt ever (aging sucks!!), killed one of his bucket list animals that he has always wanted - a Utah Shiras moose

#3: My Father-in-law killed his first mule deer with a bow on what may also have been his last hunt ever and I was able to be in the blind with him and got video of the entire hunt, including his perfect heart shot at 30 yards!!

My oldest son 17 and his first bull. Fun to have some one on one with him. His first antelope accompanied by his grandpa.

My youngest daughter on her first hunt for antelope.

2020 was not too shabby in my 12 year olds first year packing heat!
brother in law drew out an awesome LE deer tag as well.
2021 looks to be just as good with the tags we have this year

A buck that had disappeared for two years after my buddy stuck an arrow in him. 4 days after the shot we found ourselves still looking for the buck, he was MUCH larger then. As we gridded the sagebrush sea we jumped 3 elk, with a tag in my pocket I was able to harvest my first bull. Fast forward 2 years to October 2020 I get a text and it’s this buck! Escaped us for so long but finally found his resting place where he belongs…on our wall
