Pennsylvania anyone?

I live next door in OH- been applying since the Elk hunts started, My odds of drawing now are 1 in 560 or something like that. Not holding my breath but would be cool to draw.

I spent a couple years there. I would love to go back and hunt elk. But I lost hope after putting in for a few years with not very good odds. Not sure if I am going to jump back in? But I would like to. But I don't think I would ever draw out.

Every year baby ? that’s my dream state to hunt big non typical bulls

So you and I have been in the game from the start! I have 18 as well, but live in Ohio. We use to own 183 acres in PA for over 30 years. Maybe someday one of us or both will get a shot.

I just retired so my clock is ticking on how much longer I have to even do this hunt. Good Luck!

I just want to wear my complete set of orange coveralls, hat, face mask, beanie, and gloves. With my license pinned to my back I’ll go sit on a funnel between a bedding area and feeding area and try to shoot a big 12 point or maybe even get lucky and get a 14 pointer!!! I’ve got the Remington 760 woods master in .35 whelen all greased up and ready to go. Even have those rings that you can look through the bottom of to see your sights because I’m not smart enough to know that a scope is considerably faster on moving game then sights are.

You just described the typical PA hunter lol. I am a retired State Trooper and every single wide trailer I ever went in had one of those pump masters in the corner. Or the Marlin ratchet master 30 30.

I have a buddy that lives and guides elk hunters there, they kill some whoppers!
The original herd came from about 12 miles north of me. Northern NM genetics, but they never make it past 5 years old around here. And the feed is way better in PA. Seen some true monsters come out of there.
