As Mad As I've been at the Japs forever!

I Think They Mighta Learned Something!

"DON'T #### WITH THE USA!"

Not Sure We Could Teach China The Same Lesson?

Wish I had. Every time I’ve been to Oahu I ended up pissing it away in the airport bar.

I have been to Arlington.??

Sailed by the Arizona twice with in the USCG and honored colors and hand salute.. Saw something on the news today where close to 80 survivors are still alive today..

Never have but I hold honor and respect for the men who gave their bodies and Iives to die, and the ones who saved who they could. The 1900s sure was a bloody century.

I've been there and it's a very moving experience. The oil that comes to the surface from the USS Arizona is a stark reminder of what is below.

Been there once. Very moving. That and the 9/11 museum are both beautiful and incredibly sad at the same time.

I've been to Pearl Harbor and Omaha Beach, both very solemn places. Today my parents ashes will be taken to their final resting place at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery. My father served in the Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was working on the Remagen Bridge when it collapsed.

I too have only been to Hawaii just once but I made it a point to visit Pearl Harbor because of the historical significance to our country.
Moving, sobering experience.

I found this on another site. It looks as if two Zeros got shot down, each of the pilots had one on their leg. It is a Japanese wireless message form.

i don't know. we pretty much gave them there current economy after all was said and done...both of them

My uncle was there when it happened. my dad shipped in a year later in route to Saipan.

I had lots of questions for my uncle when I was a kid but he had little appetite to discuss it. my dad once told me his brother said one of the things he remembered best was you could smell the burning flesh even with the heavy smell of burning oil.

They both hated japs until the day they died.

Have been a few times. Stationed in Pearl Harbor, and on Ford Island I used to go by it daily on the ferry. Never ceases to amaze me, and I am honored to have served in the US Navy and been there!!
