Deer hunting in Colorado with 3 points

I've been looking through the Colorado Parks & Wildlife site. Too bad they don't have a setting for search the units with the number of points you have setting lol. Anyway, I have 3 points now for deer and really don't want to continue accumulating them. How I came about buying points was I did an elk hunt 2 years ago in Colorado and when I talked to the outfitter several years earlier, he had suggested that I have a point or two if I decide I want to deer hunt if I tag out early. When i applied for my elk tag the year I was going to hunt, the outfitter didn't think it was worthwhile buying a deer tag for a few reasons. So here I am with 3 points and not really sure where would be my best chance on deer hunt. I'm open to DIY with a bow or gun or even going with an outfitter if it's not too expensive. I'm in good shape for a flatlander and I'm not getting any younger, I'll be 64 next year! So, I figured I would reach out here on this site for some help. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

Oh, I did shoot a nice 6x5 on my trip!

There are paid websites that will do what you want but you can do a little work and get the info yourself. Using this link on their website.

And more specifically here

You can make a list of the units that you can draw with 3 points and then start doing research on specific units in the same link: how many hunters, success rates, etc.

The map “atlas” section shows the units on a map.

Of course you can draw any units requiring 3 or fewer points, but generally the ones you can draw for 2-3 would be of most interesting

And of course, each season takes different points. Some units that can be drawn for 3 points in the second rifle season might take 10 in the 3rd season. Ect.

Get one of the hunt odds app like Top Rut. It will break down what units you can draw on each hunt. Cost is like $19.95

After doing some research, I'm finding out that there is a good bit of units that has OTC bull tags that will work with my 3 points for deer. So, if I'm going to be hunting for elk too, I will be using an outfitter for this hunt. Being I'll be hunting by myself, I don't want to attempt it. Now the search begins for an outfitter.

After looking a little closer I'm finding out that a lot of the units I can deer hunt with 3 points has OTC elk tags. I've looked at some outfitters that offer a combo hunt that's really not too bad in price so more than likely I'll go that route.
