Yellowstone tv show

Where You Been 440?

If you know anything about cattle or ranching you want to shoot the TV the whole time. this show is less believable than Star trek.

And where are the workers who actually work ? that bunkhouse full of bums couldn't run a small operation . at least let us see someone doing real ranch work in the background .

John Dutton's horse investment would have lost him at least a half million by now I hope he has a good credit line.

Doesn't anyone ever look to see what the cyotes and ravens are always eating below the train station ?

Why do the pickups sound like a cummins sometimes and a big block at the drag strip the next ?

How do you run a ranch with nothing but pickups, Bloomers and a chopper ?

It's flat F'ing stupid I can't believe I'm dying to see the next episode.

Let's see, so ONE of the actors is a gun owner so suddenly it's all good to support the liberals in Hollywood??? :ROFLMAO:

BTW, gun owner or not, Costner IS a liberal.

Honestly, for me I really don't give a crap. I enjoy watching movies, TV shows, even pro sports (OH NO!!!). I really don't care what a person's politics are, because I see all of that stuff as simply entertainment and can separate it from my real-life political beliefs.

I just find it funny that a bunch of conservative Hollywood haters suddenly doesn't hate Hollywood so much if/when the subject matter of the show suits their tastes.

Ummm..... You're taking it too literally. ? My point is fairly obviously not about hating anyone as a person. My point is that on this site (and basically all other hunting sites), the general theme is to hate on the 'Hollywood elites/liberals'. Folks pile-on flaming Hollywood and professing they won't support that stuff, but that goes out the window when the subject matter is something they like.

Everyone in my social circle is absolutely not a republican (In fact, I'm a registered Independent). You apparently missed the point I made about really not caring what anyone's personal political beliefs are. ;)

Fri. night I started watching from the beginning as kind of a refresher. I'm now up to S2-E5 & amazingly have watched scenes that I can't remember seeing the first time thru even tho I haven't missed an episode.

The scene where her mother died cleared up why Beth has a hate for horses. I also hadn't made a connection between the gal that supposedly had Jamie's kid & the one who was his campaign manager -- one & the same.

Yes sir!

Here's an interesting article about the filming of the show.
One snippet from it:
Those coming in from out of state booked hotel rooms and long-term rentals. They ate out at restaurants, went skiing, fly fishing — Kevin Costner even hired a guide to go hunting.

I live where it is filmed. What is TFF is how between this and Covid property values have skyrocketed here. Good for me. I hope it goes on, soap opera or not. mtmuley
A good friend who was an outfitter lived right off the highway south of Darby and knew the owner of the Chief Joseph. On one visit many years ago he took me over to the ranch for a mini-tour.

Also waaaay back in the late 80s, we almost moved there. I had even flown into Missoula & went property shopping with a real estate guy from Hamilton. But the deal on our house sale in PHX crashed & so did the real estate market. We never moved an inch.

Oh my....... Looked like Paramount was airing a Yellowstone marathon yesterday. Daughter home from college was channel surfing and paused for about 5 minutes.

WOW!!! Anyone of you who is actually watching this show should turn-in your card immediately!

It even elicited eye-rolls from my daughter, and this is a young lady who can stomach some serious crap on TV. :ROFLMAO:

Huh. 14.7 Million viewers with a strong stomach. mtmuley

I think they will continue with the show next year. Making big money on selling advertisements to over 14 million viewers and they have to let Beth get revenge on that older female that threaten her and the ranch.
RELH

They have filmed quite a few, episodes in. Missoula(court house, police station banks railroad yard) , its not filmed, exclusively in the root

I'm still disturbed by Beth's response to the kid when he called her Momma.....
I think it was payback for this...they were driving back from the store.

Beth told him there were only 4 ways to get rich. The fourth way was to "suck a di^k like you lost your car keys in it"

"Is that how you got rich?" Boy to Beth
