How many Non Residents with life time hunting certificates in Idaho?

Back in the early teen's it was somewhere about 8000, and they sell around 300-400 a year since. I would imagine the total number to be up around 12,000 by now. Several of my friends bought them before moving out of state to CA and OR. They knew they wouldn't ever move back here, but they come back to hunt every year. They wanted to make sure they never had issues with NR quotas, and were able to put in for Sheep/Moose/Goat in the resident pools for OIL tags.

You know, all these friends were with BLM, USFS, or Park Service and those states were not bad to work in during the 80's and 90's. It was only as the wacko liberal enviros took over that it drove them all into early retirement!!!

I wondering if these Lifetime certificates account for the rise in nonresident hunters the people complain about. Regular nonresident tag numbers sold hasn't increased in many years.

Well...there capped sooo they don’t increase...

And yet somehow you could comprehend it enough to spot a grammatical error? Kind of let’s the air out of your own ballon there doesn’t it sister?

Yup. I was responding to “non resident tag numbers” sales not increasing. Because they can’t, they are set at a cap.

But to cut to what I think your getting at. Residents bitching about too many non residents and how stupid that must be because those tag numbers haven’t increased. I’m one who bitches about it. But Ive never said the numbers have increased I’ve always stated they just need to be slashed. I stand by that. Idaho’s resident population has grown. The cap for non resident hunters needs to shrink accordingly

The guys whining about the non residents are missing the BIG picture….
I don’t know this answer but does Idaho have a
“Right to hunt law?”
Anything like the law Utah put in place many years ago?I think it was called Proposition 5.
With so many people moving into IDAHO you
Better quit worrying about non residents and focus on getting your LAWS set up or you may end up with NO HUNTING at all.
It won’t take that many non hunters to change your game laws!
