Hi all - I’m the Redding Chapter Chair for the California Deer Association. We are having an awesome tule elk management bull tag that we will raffle off at our banquet dinner on Feb. 5th, 2022. Winner need not be present to win. Tickets are $100 each, and a maximum of 500 tickets will be sold. Right now, we have sold just over 100 tickets. Let me know if you’re interested in picking up a ticket. It’s very difficult to draw a tule elk tag - so if you’re trying for a grand slam, here’s your chance!

What a great opportunity for a Tule Elk. It's very difficult to draw a Tule elk tag, and California is the only place you can get a Tule elk. I will definitely be buying some tickets. Thanks for offering this hunt.

where is the hunt?

Like to see CDA make some money but $50,000 in tickets sales for a Management Tule elk is a lot of profit!

I heard 50k for a trophy Tule elk in California. The guys up North on recent hunt were talking about it on Opening day I believe it was the ranch in Laytonville

You guys missed the math!! 50K for a Tule elk hunt in Cali is actually $1500.00. Then, add on $48,500.00 for taxes and fees and you now get $50,000.00. And that doesn't include lodging, food and the ammo that I guess now needs to be applied for?

I’m not sure that I follow your math…

Thanks Calhunter and yes, that's all it was. We spend a ton of time in CA and are headed there again tomorrow morning. 84-I wasn't being disrespectful, just having fun. We have friends from SD all the way to the Oregon border and I give them **** all of the time as well. Trust me--they get their revenge on us for living in Vegas. Just locker room talk is all.

No offense taken on my part! Trust me… I’ve lived my whole life in Taxifornia!

Thanks for posting your raffle! I just got off the phone with Mike Torres.

Here are some photos from SkyRose Ranch where the Tule Elk hunt takes place. These are some representative photos of their management bulls, along with a photo of the lodge where you will be staying. I also included a photo of some wild hogs - as that is included in the Tule Elk raffle hunt.
