It’s better than the stacks coming up through the hood. I don’t like them either, but that truck is Cherry.

That’s a awesome truck!!! I’m going to pick up this one on Friday. Has 140k on it and only paying 4K for it so not bad. Don’t have hardly any rust just the clear coat on the bed. Uncle just barely went through the whole thing and put new tires on it. Gotta love those family deals!! I’m hoping to level it out with blistein 5100s, should be able to fit about 33s under it after that, LED head lights, new tail lights, bar light and maybe a cherry bomb should all be going on sometime too I’m hoping.

I’ve put it up here before but I think it qualifies for this thread. Gotta show off the classic plate too. Truck came out of owyhee county. Buddy of mine collects plates so I told him if he found me an owyhee county plate with an84 tab I’d take it. He came through!

My truck does have the 350. I like the square bodies. I had a 1977 short bed Bonanza 4x4. It had power windows, door locks, tilt, cruise and air. Wish I still had it. mtmuley

My Silverado has power windows,locks snd AC . It’s pretty cool. I converted it all to 12 volt when I re wired it so it doesn’t take 20 minutes to roll up the windows

Oh ya those stacks ..... let me tell you firsthand how much I hate those soot throwing pieces of you know what ! Came out of Utah that way ..... no joke ! Yep that’s my toy
 
I had a 1961 Chevy 4x4 that was my beater truck. I used it mostly for hauling wood and driving in the salt water when I was commercial fishing. I owned it for about 3 years and I never changed oil once. I just added oil as it got low.

I was at work one day and the Highway Patrol knocked on the door. He asked my wife if that junker truck parked in front of the house was abandoned? He was going to tag it and have it hauled off. Hurt my feelings.

The first full sized sedan I bought when my kids were little was a Chevy impala with a 305. Pure crap!!! I replaced it with a mercury lynx wagon that had a 2.0 and was a much better car

Oldest I got is my brand new looking 2001 24 valve belcher!

Got a tich over 100K on her!

Got a few gentle mods just to keep her purring for many more years…4” straight pipe with a 6” tip to enhance the already too loud drone of the Cummins, 50 Hp injectors, a BHAF, and aftermarket lift pump to keep the VP44 happy!

Rest is bone stock!

Oh…..it’s got a tape deck AND a CD player!

I really love my 1990 Toyota huntin rig.
32 years old, 600 K miles and still gettin it done.
It does good towing the quad trailer or I can load the quad in the back.
Great truck!
I hope to have it the rest of my life

I had a 79, the first year they came out. I asked the dealer to get me the first blue one available. Drove it everywhere...hunting, of course, work, then college. Little turd never got better than 15 - 17 mpg. I think I replaced a timing chain cover gasket and a little half moon shaped key. Nothing else.

Got a new one in 86. Slightly different motor, it got close to 25 mpg.

My duece……fun to get drunk and tear ass around the back 40. Straight pipe, continental all-fuel, and no power steering. Rockwell’s with some pretty low gears.:oops:

Sold it when I couldn’t turn it any more.
