Hey Beanman and Homer, I’m in Cabo now. The weather is great. Was a little cool this morning at 69. Thought I was going to have to put a shirt on but it warmed up pretty fast.

A$$hole. Nice, we are leaving tomorrow but are driving and camping so it’s going to be a while. Have some fresh Dorado for us.

I’m here with family. Staying at one of the all you can eat, all you can drink places. Going home Saturday if I pass my COVID test. And yes we have had some Dorado.

My brother and his wife took their 3 kids to Cancun last week.
She tested positive and has to stay there while the rest of the family flew home today.

I guess if you're gonna quarantine, might as well be in Mexico!?

I'll be there 2/20 till 2/26......clear out all the cartel shooters before we get there please......

Out on the beach you can buy a hat, t shirt or any kind of illegal drugs you want. But the peddlers aren’t allowed on the resort area. It’s a beautiful place.
Possibly one cartel controls the drug trade here so there isn’t any fights for territory. We are all healthy so far other than some hangovers.

This Why You'tr going Homer?

we are going to Royal Decameron.......where are you??

Riu Santa Fe I would call a mid level resort.

Not crowded, less than half full. Not an adult resort but very few kids here. We changed planes in Houston and the plane to Cabo had 150 seats and only 27 passengers.

You have to wear a mask into the restaurants then take it off to eat, if you get up to go to the desert bar you have to put the mask back on. All workers wearing masks.

People selling drugs on tourist beaches in Mexico is pretty normal now. Happening everywhere.

We went marlin fishing when we here six years ago but not going this year. A charter boat cost about half what it would on Atlantic coast. We only caught one marlin and one Dorado.

Heading to Cabo on 3/22 for a week. First time visitor with a group of 10 Staying at the Riu Palace. I’m the only one that wants to fish!! Considering a Panga, is it a good experience??

Never been on one but do you get sea sick? Smaller boat going to bounce you around more. We were never out of sight of land, maybe five miles out. And there were small boats out there. Pacific at Cabo isn’t as rough as Atlantic and Hatteras charters are out of sight of land.

I’m not sure of the best way to book a charter. I think there is a wide range of boat sizes and prices. I think we paid $700 for a full day for a 30 ft boat for five people. But that was a few years ago.

You can book at the resort, at the marina, on line, etc.
