OH, yea, good news. Stage IV non-hodgkins lymphoma (the original diagnosis) is no good. Stage II E is not great, but much better for survival. He had a lymph node whacked along with a chunk of lung. No cancer anywhere else. Recovering nicely. He had a rough start to life. Born addicted to methamphetamines and cocaine, Abandoned at 2, found wandering the streets. 12 foster homes from age 2 to age 4 when we got him as a foster.
His first bath made it clear that he had been sat in very very hot water as punishment. His brain is forever chemically altered due to that Mother fu*king POS womb owner who would not quit drug use during pregnancy. Sperm donor was/is not much better, if any.
However, he is looking forward to life.

Probably not gonna happen with taking his first animal. He doesn't have the heart to kill a living being. He has helped me skin a deer, but hasn't gone hunting with us for several years. But he has expressed an interest in fishing. On his first hunting trip, he was still in the foster home stage, two things interesting happened. 1. He learned why you piss downhill. 2. On a visit to my mom's grave he did this without prompting. It will be a great day with a picture of his first fish, first deer, first elk.
Best to your kid Doc good newsmy kid beat cancer, sorta. His original Stage IV diagnosis was supposed to be confirmed by a second opinion. Nope. It went from stage IV to II E. A lymph node got whacked as well as a bit of lung. All gone.
