Wonderful news. I'm sure the good people of the bay area won't demand the lion be removed. They should in fact, leave their dogs out at night as a welcome to the neighborhood

This was in Belmont one of the richest areas in the Bay Area. I'll bet those rich folks won't put up with losing their pets which is coming next.. stay tuned those cats are all over the place over here

A couple months ago one of my neighbors knocked on our door and informed us he saw a mountain lion on our property. I told him to keep his dog on a leash because I didn't think our homeowner's insurance would cover the loss.

My sis and BIL live in a nice neighborhood in Saratoga, CA. They see bears a couple times a month and lions a couple times a year.

They have a place outside of Reno that has tons of both. Previous owners watched a lion, in daylight hours, run up to the porch and snatch a 90lb dog off the deck.

once while on the way to drop a friend off at an east bay air port an entire few blocks of the 8 lane highway was blocked by police. body armored SWAT were running around and every officer for miles was there, seemed like the bank robbery of the century. come to find out a mountain lion was spotted….
