Kellogg Beach in Northern Del Norte county CA. We drive the beach regularly to beachcomber and fish for surf perch.

Vehicles usually get stuck from lack of knowledge to air tires way down etc. and get stuck between tides then the surf doesn't treat them too well. Usually flipping them over like this one and filling them with sand while sinking them. I believe this one broke a driveline u-joint then wasn't removed before the tide got it.

Blue hair, I like the oddities and rarities of the wildlife world. Cool turkey. Here's a couple. Sorry for the poor pic quality of a couple.

A piebald blacktail doe, a Eurasian wigeon in with American wigeon which are becoming more common on the west coast but still rare and a Robin with a white head.

I have a few pics some dead oddball, notably a leucistic hen mallard my son shot, a Eurasian Wigeon I shot and a nice cactus buck my wife shot in Kali 15 years ago.

I don’t have many, but here’s a Junco that was here a couple of years ago.

Since we are arguing about rare earths up above, todays extra bonus pic for Lumpy is our loader on America’s rare earths mine. That’s the most expensive set of tire chains any of you have probably ever seen.;) I could argue about rare earths all day, but we’ll just hide that down here.

Human ingenuity is incredible…….

Is that on your back 40?
Not sure which you are asking about (references attachment number). The golden is on the power pole out front of the house. Eagles like it.

The bear is up near our cabin. They’re pretty tall when they want to be  I just have a few “real” bear pics. I have a zillion trail cam pics which I don’t consider photography.

Hmmm, the attachment # shows for me in my reply. Anyway, I meant the bear.
