It’s beautiful country. I remember hundreds of sheep on the hillsides, all white, then you would come across a black one that stuck out like a sore thumb. I remember them harvesting trees and at the same time there was a crew behind the harvesters planting new trees. I remember driving on the wrong side of the road with the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. It was also the first time I experienced roundabouts and one car bridges that stretched quite a distance while you drove through small waterfalls. What a great experience.

I can't recall where this is, but it's either PV or Cabo. Anybody?

That sorta looks like Cabo back in the old days. There was a big pink hotel on the marina called the “Plaza Las Glorias” that we used to stay at. Had a great bar that overlooked the boats coming in.

But then again it could be PV like your caption says, but it doesnt look like the marina I was at.

I was back in Cabo a couple of years ago and I couldn’t see the Plaza Las Glorias from the boardwalk. The waterfront has changed a bunch from 25 years ago.

I also stayed at the Plaza Las Glorias in the 1980s. Haven't been back again, though. I tried to use google maps, but as you say, it appears like a lot has changed.

The marina in PV I remember was a lot 'tighter' & I don't recall any large complexes near it. It was mostly restaurants such as Porto Bello. But man, it sure had some very large & expensive yachts tied up there.

Time for a reminder:

Over the years I've seen some great photos by members of MM posted on this site.

Here's the gist of it -- post a single photo (or two) each day in a reply with no more than two lines of descriptive text. Limit the photos to outdoor scenics, live animals and people doing things in the outdoors. They do not have be hunting related. Save the dead critter/hero photos for the other forum sections. Lastly, please do not hijack the thread with other discussions unrelated to the posted images. Start a separate thread!

Now let's have a little fun & see how long we can keep this thread going. I'll start with a reply to this message.

Are those Merriam's?
I don’t know for sure because I really dont know anything about turkeys.

I believe the native birds are merriams, but one of the neighbors said he heard these are Rio Grandes that came over from Utah (Blanding /Monticello area, I’m just a few miles from the Utah line).

Anyway, I don’t know what they are. They seem kinda big.
