.......Had nothing to do with the draw , just technology fails from time to time ...ya'll think I have way more "power" than I really do. I just mop floors and change out trash bags and from time to time chat with a few of the crew....Or , maybe I DO run the draw! HHmmmmm...
Any luck w/ the turkeys?

Thanks for asking , yeah I had a great day ! I learned gobblers do talk in the afternoon, Ive only ever experienced them in the mornings but this year they got active 5:30ish. I also learned I HATE 3 1/2 inch mag loads cuz WOW!!!!

You guys actually log onto the game and fish site? I just check the New Mexico forum on this website every 30 minutes or so to see if the draws are posted. Much faster than logging into G&F website - let someone else do the dirty work - LOL

Our family filled our turkey tags within 20 minutes of shooting time on opening morning here in SD, so haven't had anything else to look forward to the past week and a half besides the NM draws.
My youngest son and I got ours on the western side of the state. Had put them to roost the night before so able to get set up perfectly opening morning.
My middle son took mom out on the east side of the state to one of our usual spots. The birds were roosted in their usual tree and they flew down into a field. He was able to call in the two toms with a half dozen hens behind them.
