money ?

The amount of money I make would hurt your Daddy’s feelings, but I’m still not giving you any Swarovski’s as a handout.

Glass like that must be earned son! ?

Bess you me and blank, bluehair and others should meet up someday and maybe ask a handful of others to contribute and see how rich we are!! ?

Maybe I'll have to cook a pot luck dinner, $20 a plate, to be able to buy 410 turkey loads next!!

I did my own taxes for the first time ever, apparently I’m getting a huge refund with lots of zeros ?

any rich folks on MM ? just wondering ?
Check here to see who is rich.

I've got guide buddies in Alaska....guide hunters in the fall, Fly fishermen in the spring and summer....I think they are rich though monetarily they don't have a lot.

My guide buddy in Co/ Az lives in a trailer for most of the year....he spends 300 days a year in the woods; scouting, fishing and guiding hunters. He wouldn't change his life- and lucky for him his wife makes some $$.

Its all relative isn't it? I think "Rich" is a state of mind...maxing out every day.....oh, and having a big dick of course.

Does anyone think they have enough money? Even the very wealthy want more. Some take a vow of poverty, not many. I worked my whole life until I retired at 67 due to health reasons. I’m satisfied and happy with where I am, paid for house and investments to live on. But I still buy power ball tickets. Fun to wish for a property/ranch to fly fish on, help family and friends, and start a charity. Yes, I would like more but it’s not important.

67? Damn! I’m hoping my trust fund lasts longer than that…

Tom Brady came out of retirement.....proof that the craving for competition outweighs dollars in the bank. It doesn't matter if you are rich. It matters if what you do makes you happy and fulfills you. My guess is that the circle jerk group will be greatly fulfilled.

So it looks like the definition of poor is not being able to afford swaro glass.

My, how times have changed.

You Forgot one Thing Wisz!

My Bushnell Has Seen More Inches of Tine Than The Rest Of My Glass Has Ever Seen or Will Ever See!

Cameron- join the circle jerk and, depending on where you sit, you can end up with some new glass.

Advice- Don't sit next to BESS...he likes Bushnell glass.

That would be none of your damn business.

Paid cash for me and Mrs college (yup, I have a degree).

We ate Banquet chicken nuggets for a quarter, because my dear mom in law found a double coupon that made nuggies, .$50 a bag.(can't gut a chicken nuggie now).

Cut a cast off my broken arm after 2 weeks(yup, got arthritis to prove it) with a grinder, because rent was due.

Worked 7 day weeks for 15 years.

Just to get to lower middle class.

Supposedly I'll feel pride some day in knowing I did it myself, but honestly, I'd sleep with an old rich chick in a heartbeat. If I didn't, my wife would?

Would be nice to one day have the option of working the weekend vs going to brunch.

Maybe when I'm 60?

Become a preacher. It's the perfect weekend job, & your wifie can even do her eyes real fancy, chant 'hallelujah' during your sermons & then pass the collection plate so all the old ladies can hand over their lifesavings.

And you can tell the crowd that all the animals on the Arc were roofied and hybernated for their cruise.

Unlike our deer herds, it will come back better than before. Unfortunately there are more losses still to come, just like our deer herds. ?
Problem is I don't have a lot of time left to wait around for that day.

I think the cool thing about this forum is I don't have any idea how much most members make or have in assets and I would like to keep it that way. It's nice to think that we may be on different pay scales but we all still have a common interest in hunting.
I've been done 'making' money on any pay scales for a couple years now. We're fortunate to have a low-level lifestyle with very low expenses. So we're able to live off our SS income & not dig into our savings.

It just drives me up a wall when the market tanks, as it has in the last few months. But in reality, our IRA fund, which is heavy in tech stocks, is still larger than it was a year ago. I'm just hoping the downward trend eventually ends so it heads the other way again. Still, I think it will take longer to recover $30K than the time it took to lose it. :(

That makes you rich by my definition. We're in the same position. I'm doing the same things now that I would be doing if I was a millionaire. What could I spend some money on? I mean besides a smart TV. :)

Tell me about it. Right now I have more than $20K in my damn checking account & another $1k in my Paypal account, both accumulated from selling off some of my hunt/fish gear. So I'm always looking for something to spend money on.

Lately, that has been a variety of kitchen gadgets via eBay or Amazon. Ellen even laughs about it, even though most of them benefit her.

I don't need any more TVs since we already have 4 hooked up to cable, but I'm seriously considering springing for a new $400 slide scanner this week. I simply have to justify a need rather than fret about the actual cost.
