Anybody know Magnas outfitters ? i drew a 1st season muzzle tag, dont really want a guide but i sure hate to blow a tag.

It would be difficult to blow that tag. Special place for sure. If you hunt hard you will have a shot at a good bull. Good luck!

There's a lot of wolves around the Quemado Lake Area and they keep the elk moving around alot. If you find a nice bull get on him quick because he won't be around for long.

I killed at 352" in 2007 with Mangus Outfittersin unit 15. They also killed a over 400" while I was arriving at camp that week but it was an adjacent unit if I remember correctly. I think it was 403 gross green score.

I would strongly recommend A3NM on 15. I hunted with them in 2020 on that unit and they are first class. Have fun. Great tag.

I'd highly recommend finding another outfitter. Had a real bad experience with this outfit a few years ago.

Well that sucks, not that I am going to use them . I decided to do it on my own, either I get one or tag soup I don't care. I just hate when people spend money for guides and stuff goes wrong, sorry that happened.

Going with a quality outfitter that knows the country just gives you a much better chance for something better than average but for sure a self guided hunt is very rewarding too. I’ll mix in a guided hunt here and there when I draw a good quality tag. I’ve had good and bad experiences but mostly good and met some great people along the way.
