Hey bess, who cares about the score right? It's all about age and character you taking him when you get a tag? Looks like he's right up your alley. No milk on those lips.????

Look at the F'N Neck on that Bad Boy!

Your Typical F'N Breeding Stock in the Book Cliffs now days!

Hey JakeH!

He's Tempting Me!:D

Deer Numbers are just way down out there. Yes, you can go check numbers at the few "Hot Spots" and pad your deer numbers but the surrounding areas that used to have lots of deer are just dead.

You had quite a few really mature looking "2 Points" Breeding. A handful of 140 class 3x4's and 4x4's. I did see some 4x4's that were young trying to sneak a few stragglers from the big 2's. But really it is pretty poor if you knew what it once was or could be...

I did find one "Nice" Buck that I was glad survived and he was doing his part to Save the Unit. This was him...

DWR doesn't care as long as they get their money.
Hunted cow elk on Diamond last week and it's headed in the same direction with GIANT 2 and 3 points doing the breeding, although there are a ton of deer up there, unlike the Book Cliffs. True 4x4's were pretty scarce. They seriously need to have management hunts in both units.

Nice buck for the books nowadays!

Here’s a quick vid of a decent book cliffs buck we passed on opening weekend during archery a couple years ago. He’s got some cool character. Kicker on each side.

Well, I had an $80 charge hit at 3pm today... thought it was for mine and my father's Fishlake general season rifle deer tags and I had forgotten we used the same card for it...

But 20 minutes ago, at 11pm, I got a $40 charge on my card, which has to be the general season rifle tag... that means the $80 charge earlier must be for my 12 year old daughter or wife for a Book Cliffs South tag..!!
