Here is how our local store looked today. The other side is just as full.

From what i saw just about most popular calibers . I just looked for what I wanted. Didnt have time to scan every box

What does a hunnert once fired AA’s go for these days? I still have a pile of them in the way. I sold some but think I still have 10,000+.

I hope the prices bottom out and the hoarders get hung with all of those boxes of ammo.
Hoarders don’t hoard for today’s prices or even next months prices, they hoard for years, decades on down the road. One thing for sure, ammo is not going to get any cheaper in the years to come.

Starting to see a little of the PRC 6.5 and 300 trickle in. But not a lot! But no 444 Marlin and bigger stuff. Seems like they are just manufacturing 9 mm and 223 . No 408 Cheytec and the bigger stuff like 50 Beowulf . Hoarders ? What ? Maybe I can starting shooting again and not worry about not having any ammo left. Will it ever be like it use to be ? Shoot a 500 brick of 22 ammo on a Saturday ?

Is it easier for the government to control your weapons or your ammo? Interesting.

If you're a good shot you could less about the ammo in stock. A few boxes will last a long time with a sighted in rifle. Unless you're a city boy that lacks self confidence in shooting then I can see going to the "range" every weekend burning through a couple boxes.

Very full but of most calibers I don’t use. It’s crazy I checked midway for some 22-250 loads that my gun shoots wel and what used to be 25 bucks for 40 rounds is now almost 70$ if they had it.

I picked up two boxes of 6.5 Prc last week. All said and done the cost me about $ 101 a box. Still haven’t sighted it in yet. Got it and my 300 Prc in October. Hunted with the 300 during elk season last year. I really was waiting for the new suppressor for it. With ammo that expensive I only want to sight it in once. A can can change impact and speed up the bullet because of the length. Kind of feel bad a brand new rifle sitting for months in the safe and never fired it once.

I know what you mean. I've had my 6.5 PRC for about 4 months now and haven't shot it yet. I finally was able to get some ammo in the last few weeks.

Hard to believe there's that many calibers of Creedmore, PRC, RPM, and others that no one shoots!! The empty spots you see are the 243, 270, 280, 7 Mag, 30-06, and 300 WinMag!!!

A lot of guys I know only own one or two rifles, those most popular calibers you mentioned. I would bet that has something to do with it.

Believe it or not, I bought plenty of 300WM, 270, 308 and .17HMR. The only thing I did not see was 22-250. Literally everything else I could think of was there.

Now in the gun section, you could get whatever flavor Creedmore you wanted. Lol

I did not see those. I am going back over there tomorrow and will check. PM me your cell and will call you if they have any. Will be after 5 central time. Stuck in meetings all day tomorrow.

Not being a handloader, I know I know, I need to. I wish the other ammunition makers would finally do some runs of 6.5 PRC other the Hornady ELD X and M, ( something bonded/controlled expansion ). Federal is going to make a 130 grain terminal ascent load for it, that would be nice or a 140 accubond load. They have produced so many rifles for it they cannot keep up it seems and its around $100 a box on GB. It is sort of like where the electric car situation is headed for in next few years during the middle of summer when they cannot make enough power to charge them all.
