Exactly, look back at other shootings. If the person was a minority, race was never mentioned. And if it was, it was a day or two later.

It’s obviously terrible what this d bag did. And I’m not sure why this is good news for anyone? You sure paint with a broad brush.

ALL news outlets gather info and write stories/broadcasts, and ALL of the spin/slant it (sometimes slightly, sometimes blatantly...). Nothing new at all in the way this is being reported....

Agreed!! Not sure what u all are seeing on the news, but the Buffalo shooting quickly became old news here in Nevada since the California church shooting. And, I am not even sure, really what to believe really happened at either place.
 
If their is no partisan gain to be had and no political opponents to blame.... they move on real quick and everyone knows it.

I ignore it (except on here I guess)and keep the TV off. Current culture has about a 10 second attention span. By Wednesday everyone will be all fired back up about there right to kill baby’s and then blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Yes because I don’t personally know any of these people. Yeah it’s terrible, no one should have that happen to them. All I said was the media coverage of this has sucked. As it does with most things. And I think that it’s a fair point.

Dare I say it that the media missed all these? Or these shootings didn't mean as much as the others? I wonder if the Columbine shooters were black if there'd have been a different spin on things? Such as the shooters actions were simply a reaction to the hundreds of years that their race had been kept down. I guess we'll never know what the "cause" is for black shooters because their story never reaches the news teleprompter.

Like with any of the mass shooters, all a bunch of low life’s with a brain not wired correctly.
 
I just did a little research on this and the only highly televised shootings I could remember were the DC Snipers who shot people out of the back of their car. These shootings occurred over many days and that is why it got so much notoriety. The general public was scared and that is why it made the news. Otherwise, we may not have even heard of Malvo and Muhammed.
Wasn't there a black guy in Colorado like 8 years back that had killed like 4-5 people over several days and they had to search for a week to find him? That made the news but obviously wasn't that big of a story if I can't really remember it, huh?

It's fun as hell 2 chew each other up over long-range guns, ML's, scopes and technology but at the end of the day-it aint no different than a locker room argument.

Yes sir, evil exists, racism exists, both always will, the best we can do is mitigate active shooters with good guys who carry guns. The left has never been so wrong about so much when it comes to guns.
