Poking around in the hills, not even shed hunting and I bumped into this beaut, it had been chewed on a bit and I did my best to match it up but no such luck yet. The bottom side is dark brown so I think this Bull is still walking around would be cool to see him on the hoof, I think he is a solid Shiras for Co, for reference that is a little 140lb Dane haha just figured that I would share

Very nice! If I find a moose shed the match is either right there or I never find it no matter how hard I try. Let us know if you match it up.
 
Will do, I spent a good 3 hours gridding the area, with no success yet the other day, the thing probably weighs around 20lbs so I figured it had to be close. There are also a lot of 10-12 year old jack pine thickets and heavy cover. Im trying to get my buddy and his dog up there in a couple weeks and give it another shot

20 lbs? That’s a big shiras. Hard to even find an Alaskan moose that the paddles weigh 20 lbs
