If you're not from that area, I think its good you're asking for some help because there's quite a bit of private land there. Visited someone's cabin up there a few years ago, saw lots of deer, some good bucks included. Its beautiful. Thanks man yes it took 18 points to draw not like im going back lol i know you shouldnt put in for a unit you dont know.... but honestly i just want to go hunt was tired of waiting....

18 points to draw? Dang. Looking at the odds no one put in with 18 points. Someone with 19 and one with 17 drew Rifle.

I went with a friend a few years ago and it was a pretty cool area to hunt. We went on a guided hunt with a guide that wore axe body spray and only wanted to road hunt so you can guess how well that went. I will say we did see 75-100 bucks a day but very few over 150-160 class. We hunted private but there were public parcels adjacent to these private areas that did have bucks on them daily. We did the muzzle loader season but it sounded like the best bucks were already shot in bow season that they were watching. Their favorite technique for bow hunting was to have the hunter sneak around the opposite side of the vehicle and shoot. It was weird how fearless the deer were of vehicles yet how quick they would run from hunters on foot. Definitely be wary of who you hire if you go the guided route but you should be able to get a decent buck on public land.
