Did the NR elk post before the date that they had published this year? I'm just wondering if there is a good chance that deer and antelope will post next Wednesday as opposed to Thursday morning.

I received elk results via email one day early. So maybe Tuesday or Wednesday would be my guess

I’m with bookhead my money is on Tuesday !!
Must be getting ready I see there little banner that read nonres elk results available was gone last night but was still there yesterday morning.

If you pay attention every year if moose bighorn mnt goat comes out early the rest follow suit, if it comes out on day they say the rest follow suit, ?

Unsuccessful on my type 1 deer license. Also unsuccessful on my doe antelope license. But did draw two whitetail doe tags, which I already knew I would get those. Not drawing the antelope was unexpected. Area 109 is usually an easy draw.

Still have all my points. That's the positive spin I'm putting on the situation. My 14 yr old drew a good tag for buck antelope. I put him in in the special with a high point area and the area I wanted him to draw 2nd choice. 2nd was leftover last year, mostly private. My thinking was special would guarantee that 2nd choice. It got him a better tag but we had private access to a pretty good ranch. That's the good news.

14, I need to burn them before I hopefully move there
Used 13 antelope points on a unit that took less so I could take my 75 year old dad on his last WY combo Elk/Antelope hunt.

I also have 14 deer points I need to use next year before I move there. I just have no deer hunt I want to use them. I would average with my son and hunt G, but am unwilling to give up any elk season to hunt deer. Maybe a 1st week of Sept archery hunt is the only ticket to use them on.

I'm the other way around. I pass on Elk hunts until a later date to chase big mule deer ! Where are you looking to move to?

What unit did you draw? I snagged a 53-1 lope... My daughter got a type 6 cow tag and everything else was unsuccessful.

At least we have general deer and elk both...
52-7. Still waiting on a couple of buddy's to check. Cody struck out on all but his cow tag.

We had a couple people put in for the buck 52 buck tag and didn't draw.

I'll I can say is W WY. So many factors. I have been looking/planning for years. I'm flexible if the right place pops up at the right time.

Looking at the odds only 8 of 88 applicants drew G special with 8 points. Luckily I was 1 of the 8. Now to lose 380 lbs!
No need to go to that extreme, **** I’d load up the back seat with crispi cremes, red vines and Dr Pepper, turn up the tunes and hit every road your bound to run into a 200” on one of them !! After all isn’t that what G is made of? ? Congrats to all who drew !!
