Does any one know we’re I can get some kind of a list of Timber companies that allow access in
Oregon? Pretty much any where but preferably west coast.
You can PM me if that’s better.Thamks!

Are you living in western Oregon? If so, what area? If you are in Corvallis for example, you’ll have easy access to different areas than if you live in Medford, Gresham, Roseburg, etc.

Makes sense
I have not hunted Blacktail much except in Alaska. So Just getting started on what Area I want to focus on.I didn’t realize how much public access ground that is available.
Kinda looking at Coos Bay Area.
I know some of it is pretty steep but that’s were I hunted years ago.I’m actually coming in through Bend so I’m pretty open to anything.

Blacktail is definitely a different ball of wax than mule deer! I grew up hunting mule deer and consider myself pretty proficient but switching to Blacktail was a big shock! It took me a couple years of failure to figure it out, I got my first Blacktail last year. There is a lot of public land but expect a decent amount of other people hunting especially on weekends. If you have a place you have hunted before, you’re in a good position, it gives you a big head start!
