Card hits

My CC company picked today to update their system, so I can't call or go online to check if I got hit, perfect timing
 
Nothing again crazy that with 2 under max I’m on the outside looking in for the late 12 AW.

If 12B late was your 3rd choice I’m pretty sure you can rule that one out?

Anybody know if CC’s take longer to hit than debit cards? Couple buddy’s got debit cards hit and couple buddy’s who used credit cards didn’t.

They all hit the same, some CC give an instant update when charged and some don't and some people just don't know how to check their balance or charges. There will be a couple of days now where people will get all excited saying it's not over I just get a hit, but those charges are either rejected cards and the next person in line was now charged or the guy didnt know how to check his card charges.
 
Last year I drew two great AZ tags. In both cases, I had given up looking at my credit card for charges and was surprised when I opened my portal after getting the updated email. Both charges came in within two days of the portal updated email when I checked my card after the fact. I’m not even looking for a hit anymore. Non resident of that matters.

Does anybody know if the portal is updated with the draw process?
I would look myself if I had my login info but that's at home and I'm out of town...
 
What crap! Both wife and I applied, one charge on the cc, but don't know who got the tag. Portal shows pending for both of us............

I hope your CCard company didn't refuse the charges...

I'm a little worried about that since I had fraud after the application deadline and added a new to me card. My other CC had a solid record of Arizona purchases.
 
I would think that refused charges would require a resort as next in line may be someone who drew a second choice. The resorting could be somewhat complicated and take more than one iteration if refused charges happen again on the resort.

I have friends that know 12A really well, and tell me that 12B can be awesome if the weather comes early.
 
Holy crap my card got charged for $300. I've drawn antelope in a few states, but this will be my first deer draw. So excited. I put in for 13b rifle and 12a muzzle due to the Nov 4 dates working out for me. I cant wait to find out which hunt.

Hopefully it's a 13b hunt. The 12ae muzzy hunt is not an easy hunt at all. On my 12ae late rifle hunt they were in full crazy rut, but I couldn't find a big buck. I spent the entire season and ate my tag. Unless they get a foot or more of snow spend all of your time up on top!

I can’t wait to see the draw reports. I’m hearing of mid range zones creeping 3-4 points . I knew it would creep one after the HS money grab but not this bad.

They didn't refuse them. Ended up the pending charges disappeared for a couple hours before they pulled the money. Made for a very stressful couple of hours for me lol.
 
I thought maybe we’d see emails today, I guess I was wrong.
No card hit for me so far?
 
I know I drew a Coues tag from the CC hit, still waiting to see which unit that I drew. I’m really excited about it because I haven’t ever hunted them before. I have hunted whitetail my entire life, but I know these little guys are a different breed.

I’m pretty pumped!!! I don’t really know what to expect, but I know it will be fun.
My nephew & one of his buddies will be joining me, so I know my focus will first be to get them on deer. They are both newbies, so I’m going to try my damndest to put deer in front of them. I can’t wait.
 
I had a pending $600 hit on my CC. The $600 charge is on my CC and it's no longer pending! Friend and I applied as NR party for Coues in area 36B late rifle hunt (Dec). We had 6bp towards the draw. We've hunted this same unit twice, both times during first rifle season and tagged out each time with nice bucks. It's been a few years since our last hunt, but we're both hoping to score on nice bucks again. Mmmmmm, they were very tasty!!! Maybe we'll get to experience some pre-rut action this time!!

I am stoked, my CC just got hit for $300 so I got a NR deer tag. I selected 5 choices on the application I’d be real happy with any of them. real luck for me zero points NR. Really hope I got unit 27, hunted that area as a kid in the 60s. So this would be a bucket list hunt for me.

I got hit for a $300 pending charge last week.They finally to it out.
But I still haven’t seen what I actually drew.
Any way to see it before the Emails. I haven’t even seen that either.
 
35A Fort huachuca - Rifle Antlered WTD. Only my second year applying in Arizona so pretty excited - not my first time hunting on a military base either so should be able to come home with something! WooHoo

Hmmm. For some reason, I thought it took more points than that for the Bonus Pass. Which units are considered the Kaibab? And which units are considered The Strip? I asked on here a couple years ago, but don't remember. Must be getting old!
 
12A/12B is the Kaibab. 13A and 13B are the strip. I applied with a buddy and we averaged 6 points. Tags #53 and #54. 60 tags went to bonus pass this year since there were 300 tags. The Strip takes a lot more points to draw.
 
Thanks AZhunter! I'm a NR with 9 points. I've been applying for elk tags, and since the deer point is only another $15, I've just been buying deer points with no real plan. I should probably put one together soon!

Well my friend if you’re serious about hunting mule deer in Arizona you will have those units ingrained in your soul.
However now is not a good time to draw.
Wait until after a couple good years of moisture!

That would be a great forecast- which year will the rains really hit & turn the average bucks into the monsters we are looking for- no idea !!!
