What about these guys?

Got super lucky and drew a NV elk tag with 4 points. I just got back from my 3rd trip to scout the unit. Hunt starts in 15 days, the 2 upper bulls in the picture with 4 are my 2 target bulls. 6x6 and a 7x7 (6's are small). The 7x is in the other 2 pictures, they were a ways off and this is a screen grab from the video. I can't wait till I'm carrying my bow. It's early and I'm guessing I'm only going to get a couple chances at them so I've got to make them count. Got 13 days to get it done.

Nice Bulls!
I hope you get to them before they start fighting. Last year they were all broken up where I hunted.
Drought makes their antlers brittle.

Still really green and there still is some water, but definitely not as much as there was a month ago. A month ago I only saw 5 bulls. Last weekend I saw 100+ elk mostly due to they were congregated where there was water. Huge herd of cows and calves the first morning. Bigger bulls were still bachelored up.

Find the water holes. I had the early archery tag last year above Elko. So much fun, sitting water worked even tho I came home empty handed after missing a shot.

I figure I might get 1 or 2 chances, so I better make it count. There are a few water holes so I'll definitely be sitting those since it is early and hot.

Yep, I'm 3D printing one that uses magnets and the case actually fits my phone. The phoneskope case I have the camera is not centered to the eye piece so it never focuses very well.
