My buddy did not receive his deer tag. I called WGF and they said they have been having problems w tags getting lost or sent to the wrong addresses. Agent told me to have him just go to a licensing agent and have them print one off. This w be the day before the hunt and it w cost $7 for the reprint. Does this sound right? She said she couldn’t send him another one??

Hell no that doesn't sound right. You talked to the wrong person. I'd go straight to the top, that's false advertising if you have to pay more than published for that license.

My Wyoming tags were sent to someone with my exact same name in a different state. Luckily the guy was nice enough to forward them on to me. I called the Wyoming Game and Fish and asked them if they could correct the issue. The guy suggested that I send the other gentleman some money so that he would continue to forward my tags. I asked why it should be my responsibility to fix an issue that they messed up on. They also told me that I could spend the 7 to have them reprinted. Their customer service is very poor. I was so frustrated with the issue that I sent the head G&F Commissioner expressing my frustration. He never replied.

Sounds to me like one hell of a F up and a big mess so what makes since all nonres quit applying for Wyoming since they can’t get stuff right, then there will be no outfitter, landowner welfare and us residents won’t have to worry about the 90/10 split , ?? PS sure wouldn’t pay the $7 for a reprint , G&F needs to make it right !

Some guys just have to be comedians.

How exactly did you make contact with the guy in another state that got your tag??
The guy opened my mail and on the actual tag was my correct address. The state G&F aggravated me because they threw the whole problem back at me and told me to solve their mistake. They said this happened to a bunch of people this year because of some contractor that they were using. I still think the state should be responsible to fix their error.

Was your correct address on your g&f envelope? If so, I'd say it was a post office mistake of some sort, how I would know, but not sure how the g&f could fix a mix up by the post office.

No I live in Wyoming and the letter was addressed to someone with my same name in California. They said the error was caused by a contractor that Wyoming was using. They acknowledged that the problem was on their end then proceeded to tell me to fix the issue.

What a bunch of vaginas. People make mistakes. It’s no big deal. Move the flock on.
